Hi

The answer for question 7 of the exercise on pg 321 might be wrong.

The difference between path A-B-C-G (10) and critical path D-E-F-G (17) is 7. Given that A=B=2 and G=0, the float for activity C should be 3.

Bu the answer on pg 321 will the answer 7.

Can someone pls help?

Corrections on my post:

1. The question in the book (Head First PMP 3rd Edition) is on page 291, answer on pg 321
2. The question is about Precedence Diagramming Method (PDM)

Does anyone know why the answer (on pg 321) for question 7 is 7? My answer is 3.

thanks

Float is difference between Early Start and Late Start (or Early Finish and Late Finish)
F = LS - ES = LF - EF

Activity C has a ES of 7 and a LS of 14. Which gives a float of 7.
