Hi all,

Does anyone know how to use the AutoFill feature in Mobile Safari? I've been under the impression that it's driven by the name attribute on input elements. Here is some sample code:

<div class="clearfix">
 <input type="text" name="first_name" class="clearfix" />

I've clicked the AutoFill button a thousand times...nothing!

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this is documented anywhere, but I looked at one of Apples forms that I found does work with Mobile Safari's AutoFill (iOS Only Link: https://connect.appl...le.com/programs)

They are using 'fname' for first name and lname for last name. You could look at the ids they're using. It also looks like you're only using the input's name. Have you tried setting it's id?

By the way, if you're on a Mac you can debug Mobile Safari by using desktop Safari's Develop menu.

Good luck,
