Example 12-4 does not seem to work.

The trouble is, I never get an error message and am never allowed to log in. I can enter a username and password into a popup window that the program generates, but nothing ever happens as a result of entering anything, correct or incorrect. When I hit "ok" the username and password fields are just cleared.


Maybe I could troubleshoot the example if I knew what $un_temp referred to but the writer doesn't say.

Are you using 1st Edition or 2nd Edition? I'm using 1st Edition. Example 12-4 is a Smarty template exercise in the first edition.

If you're using 2nd Edition and it's a different example, give me more details and I might be able to help.
