Ch12 Templating With Smarty

Hi,

I have been reading through "Learning PHP, MySQL & JavaScript" and following the examples. Overall I have been pleased and I have enjoyed the book, however, when I came to the 12th chapter I came to a stumbling block. I felt the instructions to install Smarty where unclear and as a result I was not able to follow along with the examples in this chapter. I appreciate that I am reading through a previous release (2009) so certain steps may have changed but I felt I wanted to give you this feedback anyway.

Has anyone else had the same experience?
