Hi,

Apologies for the off topic query, but I dont see a better place to ask this...

Whats the best way to buy an ebook for someone else, such that they get the book updates?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

The simplest way to give someone an ebook as a gift is to purchase it through your account and then email accounts@oreilly.com to ask them to move it to your friend's account (or if they don't have an account, just send us their email address and we can set up an account). That way they will get free ebook updates and discounts for new editions.

If you have any more questions, you can reach customer service at orders@oreilly.com or accounts@oreilly.com or through our customer service forum http://support.oreilly.com/oreilly

Kind Regards,

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

How long do you think it should take?

The email was sent about a day ago now.

Thanks,
Chris
