Hi,

Are CAPM questions the same as the PMP ones?
If not, what are the differences?
Thanks,
Chris

They are the same because they are from the PMBOK.
They are different, because the focus is different, CAPM questions are from the surface of the subject more about the process. However in PMP questions are more trivial, tricky and deep in the subject.

Hello Chris,

I confirmed this with PMI a while ago:

The questions on CAPM and PMP exam are from a different pool, because the difficulty level is different (CAPM is easier).

However, both exams are based on PMBOK Guide, Fourth Edition.

Good luck.

Yes. The exam pattern for CAPM and PMP is quite different. CAPM is an entry level PM certification whereas PMP is for experienced professionals. Having said that, CAPM examination is quite easy as compared to the PMP examination. The difficulty levels are different and so are the type of questions.
Though for preparing both the exams, you need to study PMBOK. For tips on how to effectively prepare for your PMP/CAPM exam, you can read this article:

Good Luck!!
