Hi there amy56 yeah i know that tracking time especially if it's an online job is not easy. As an employer I also want to know the exact time my employees worked on so that I could also give them the right work and deadlines. I suggest you read more on this blog about time tracker, it could help you more on your research for the right software to use.

Hello I am online contractor and currently having an employer with this soft ware https://secure.logmein.com/ try this I am using his PC remotely so he can track me and see's me working to his PC intended for me! The only problem for this is an additional cost to you but this will be helpful tracking your online worker. I am not connected to that site nor pays me for posting their site I just want to share what my employer did just to track us his remote worker. hope this may help you.
