Hi all,

Thanks for both buying Programming ASP.NET 3.5 and for finding this forum on oreilly.com. This here is the place to ask any questions about the book, post requests for the next version, raise queries about possible errata in the book or code downloads, and in general send any thoughts and feedback you have for us.

Cheers,

Hi Anthony,

It should be available within a couple of weeks in conjunction with the release of the book. For your reference, there are 21 chapters and 3 appendices.

Thanks, Dan

If we have questions about code in the book not working, is there a means to address that?

Thank you!

Hi there,
You have two options.
First you can send an email to bookquestions@oreilly.com.
Second you can start a thread on this forum. But just one code problem per thread please. Title it 'Chapter xx, Page yyy, zzz not working' so everyone browsing the forum can see if it addresses their own problem.

Thanks, Dan

Sir,

I have just completed reading 'Learning ASP.Net 3.5'. Its the most informative and precise book I have read so far on ASP.Net, my concepts have become more clear. One thing that really helped me learn was the 'BrainBuilder' section of the book which included Quiz and Exercises.

Now I have bought 'Programming ASP.Net 3.5' and have already started reading it. And I am sure that after completing this book I would further advance in ASP.Net with my concepts more clear.

But I was disappointed when I found that this book doesn't includes a 'BrainBuilder' section. I would like to know why this book doesn't includes a 'BrainBuilder' section and is it possible get such quizes and exercises on ASP.Net somewhere else (like any other book or website).

Thanking You
ShivaVP.

SharePoint development is an intelligent ASP.Net 2.0 application that extends the framework of ASP.Net development through the installation of customized components such as HTTP module, Virtual Path Provider and HTTP handler etc.

Thanks.
