Does Head First Statistics cover the basic student t-test?

Hi Emmit,

Head First Statistics doesn't explicitly cover hypothesis tests that use the t-distribution.

However, the t-distribution is covered in Chapter 12 of the book, which teaches how to find the standard score and confidence intervals for t-distributions. In addition, hypothesis testing is covered in depth with several different examples in Chapters 13 and 14 of the book. So even though the book doesn't walk you through an example of a hypothesis test that uses the t-distribution, it does teach you all the underlying principles you need to be able to perform such a test.
