Hi,

I just got Head First Data Analysis. In quickly browsing it, I saw the last chapter mention that one should go an learn more about statistics not covered in this book. Would Head First Statistics be a good second book after Data Analysis? Or does it cover much of the same items, or different items that wouldn't compliment the topics in the Data /analysis book?

I'd like to know this too - the other posts in this thread seem to be in the wrong place - yes data analysis is a good tool but what about the question about is Head First Statistics a good follow up to this book (Head First Data Analysis)?

thanks

Hi Chris,

HF Stats is definitely a good read, and in addition to it I'd recommend "Statistics" by Freedman, Pisani, and Purves.
