Creating Gadgets Will it be covered?

I was just wondering if this course will cover creating Google gadgets at all?

According to the course schedule it will not be covered: http://training.oreilly.com/googleapps/
However you can find a great step-by-step guide to gadgets from Google here: http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/dev_guide.html

The http://code.google.com/apis/desktop/docs/script.html is also a good learning guide for creating Gadgets.
