While playing around with Vara Software's ScreenFlow screencasting software, I noticed that its http://blogs.oreilly.com/digitalmedia/2008/05/multitrack-video-effects-with.html could be used for editing movies in ways that the developers had (probably) not thought about when designing this program.
Have you found ways to use creative software in ways that the developers (probably) never intended? What creative "abuses" for the software you work with have you discovered?
