Many of our article ideas at O'Reilly Digital Media come from you, either via comments at the end of the articles or direct e-mail to the authors. But all of us don't see every comment. So, to make it easier, here's a page where you can leave suggestions in one convenient location.

Please tell us what you'd like to see and hear — whether it's specific reviews, interviews, and tutorials, or just suggestions for making the site itself easier to use and more valuable.

Thanks!

I have been reading the excellent reviews of portable digital recorders. There are some stunning choices out there.

I am hoping you will review the TASCAM DR-1 with special emphasis on home music studio performance, well . . . with woodwinds.

Thanks for all you guys do.

Thanks for reading! Our DR-1 review unit is supposedly in the queue at TASCAM; I'll check today. We're also awaiting the super-compact Yamaha PockeTrak, which I hope is easier to use than it is to spell.

Your M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96 Pocket Digital Recorder review was interesting, even though it was back in 2005, and of course, led directly to what issues the maker addressed with the new M-Audio MicroTrack II.

Any units on their way for your review?

Not yet, though I'll check with Mark. It might make sense to look at the revised Edirol R-09 as well.

Good news! We're getting both the new MicroTrack and the new Edirol, and Mark's hauling them off to Hawaii, where he tested their predecessors. Let us know what features you're most curious about and we'll try to cover them in the review.
