I am trying to set up a tethered workflow for a studio shoot i have coming up and having some problems. Here is what i am running:
Canon EOS Digital Rebel MacBook Pro Leopard 10.5.2 Aperture 2 I saw this tutorial http://digitalopia.com/aperture-tethered-shooting-tutorial/ The problem i am having is that when I set my camera up to PTP in the camera menu the HUD does not recognize the camera. It just says Canon Digital Camera and all the machine is looking for is pictures on the CF to download. When I change the communication in the camera menu to normal the HUD sees the Rebel and allows me to press the shutter, but no picture is seen on my display, nor the folder I have set as my storage folder. Does anyone know what i should do? |

Have you checked here to see if your camera is supported:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1085 "Current generation cameras (Canon EOS 30D or newer and Canon Digital Rebel XTi or newer) are not supported." Are you using 2.0, 2.01 or 2.1? If you're not using 2.1, you should be. It's free! Alternatively you can set up a "hot folder" using Automator and the Canon software DLS |
