killall SpringBoard, and the default icon shows up. when i clicked (or touched) it, the icon enlarges to fullscreen, and the whole program freezes. home button does not work, a hard re-boot is required at this point. i'm trying out the example from chapter 3, the basic hello world UITextView. my iphone is 1.1.4 couldn't figure out why, please help thanks. |

I removed the main.m and put the main() into MyExample.m, but still, the application freezes after I touched the icon on my iphone. And home button does not work anymore. A hard reboot fixes this. Any suggestion? |

The only reason I can see that a basic application that built ok would freeze is that your Info.plist was wrong, maybe taken from the Xcode SDK rather than copied from the book...? Sometimes the iPhone's own applications freeze up - it may not have been anything he did, just a buggy OS.
