Any word on when Essential Silverlight 2 Up-To-Date will be available for purchase? I'm very looking forward to purchasing this title. Thanks much!

Thank you for being so patient. We ran into a bit of a delay with the manufacturing of this book, so the release date has been pushed back. I hope to have an actual release date today or tomorrow and will post back then.

I noticed the land page (http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/9780596519988/) for the book has been updated to say April 2008 est. Any more specific information then that? I don't mean to pester, I just have a silverlight 2 project starting and due very soon that I'm preparing for and would like to know if I can count on this book as a potential resource/reference.

Excellent news! Are you able to verify my previous forum post question about section 3? Will that section be expanded with updates to the book? It seems a little skinny. I need to utilize .net as opposed to javascript so I really need a resource with as much coverage of .net silverlight 2 development as possible. Deffinetly some coverage of each of the supported .net framework controls. Or is all that out of the scope of this book?
