I'm working through the example for Chapter 5 and running into a problem. I appear to have set up the Wiki page content type per the book's instructions. However, when I click on the 'Help' link, it takes me to create a Page, not a Wiki page. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?
Never mind, found it myself. Freelinking settings didn't save and so the default for new content was not set to Wiki. This post has been edited by ncarty97: Sep 14 2009, 06:51 PM |

It looks like you and I are going through the same chapters at about the same time. I did Chapter 5 last night. So feel free to post issues, I will see if I can help.
Today I have just wrapped up Chapter 6, but with 2 issues to troubleshoot now: * placeholders are not working for me. (page 218). Drupal does not replace, for example, %title, with the actual title of the article. * I have yet to figure out how to set up a smtp server on my laptop here. I have a windows vista, apache 2.2, and mysql for that matter. I just have no clue how to get the mail to send. But never fear! I shall. |

OK, solved the placeholders issue by updating to Drupal 6.13

Thanks! I'm running into the placeholders issue as well. I'm wondering if there is another fix for it though, because the first time I tried to work through the book, I tried using the current version of drupal and all the modules and had significant issues getting it to install the profiles correctly.
