The example code in our books is often available for download from the book's catalog page on oreilly.com. It's always listed on the left side of the page under the book's cover.

The direct link to download the example code from Python for Unix and Linux System Administration is:

http://examples.oreilly.com/9780596515829/

Enjoy!

THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION.

please take a few seconds to read a question before you give answers to not questioned subjects.

i like this book and i like o'reilly but this behaviour is really annoying. why do you are kidding people who are buying your books, i can't believe it.

Nobody wants to download hundred or more files one by one. the question was to download the code within a zipped or tared file.

best regards

Hello,

The code is now available as a zip file as well. I apologize for any frustration you experienced attempting to download all of the code. This particular thread was posted a month ago before it was brought to our attention that a zip file would be much more convenient. We'll watch for this going forward. Thank you for posting.

Kind regards,
Sarah

Hi,

I contacted the authors and got the ReSTless code. It is now available with the rest of the code here - http://examples.oreilly.com/9780596515829/
