I need help finding tutorials that tell you how to customize edit.aspx insert.aspx and details.aspx. When using scaffolding the only thing I have managed to do is learn how to limit what columns are returned. I need some help finding other racecourses how to customize it further

Hi Limemam

Not sure how this has any relevancy to my book or Entity Framework in general. Is this about ASP.NET MVC? WHy not ask on an ASP.NET MVC forum?

Here's Microsoft's official one:

Thanks for replying I will check there. My mistake I didn't know that is part of the MVC. I thought it was part of the entity framework. can't wait for your new book smile.gif

No worries.
Glad I could at least point you in the right direction!

MVC is an ASP.NET technology but it can use LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework EDM as the "M" part. But that's just "an implementation detail". wink.gif The core of MVC is about building web sites.
