Aperture To Iphoto Import, Aperture Lib import command |

Does anyone know why the file size changes after importing into Iphoto thru the File, Show Aperture Lib command. After importing into IPhoto my files are about one half the size and not of the same resolution. If I try to use them in PS you can clearly see they are smaller. It is not a matter of using Raw in one program either, each are jpeg. If I Import to Iphoto strait from the cameras card the files show up as the original size. Any ideas and how to fix this so Iphoto will have the same files sizes and not just referenced files. I've look thru the Preference section but haven't found the answer unless I'm missing something...

The size of the image depends on the preview setting in the Aperture prefs. I think the default is 1/2 size. There is an explanation near the end of this tutorial video from the Aperture web site.
