Re: http://www.oreillynet.com/digitalmedia/blo...ng_and_res.html

I shoot for maxpreps.com and they require submissions at 2166x1600 to get a 1.35 image ratio.

Normally if I crop at 2166x1600 within Aperture, then export at 100% this generates close to 1.35xxxxx, with the expected file size, but they really want the exact pixels.

Following the example in the above link I get the correct pixel output size(+/- 20), but the file is reduced from 12.9MB to 900K, so something else is going on.

I tried increase the ratio by 10, i.e., 21660 x 16000, but that generated a file too large for Aperture.

There aren't that many Aperture-using shooters on MaxPreps, but the few of us on there are really frustrated and don't want to have to add another bit of software like Lightroom to our workflow.

Am I missing something obvious. Other ideas?

Thanks...
