hey guys i was just wondering how you can take a photograph that blurrs everything except the subjects which you are focusing on. i know it deals with the aperture but if i have a smaller number in regards to the aperture, will the blur the surroundings more, or is it with a higher number with aperture will it blur more?

The "blur" is called Falloff or Bokeh and you get it with larger apertures (smaller #=larger aperture). Ex. ƒ/2.8 will give more falloff the ƒ/22.. |

I also have the same question here. I'm an amateur photographer with a canon EOS 1000D. -------------------- Read the Electric cigarette review and find out how you can Quit smoking cigarette with the Electronic cigarette, Smokeless cigarette, Electric cigarette, and E-cigarette.
