I can connect my friends laptop (acer) through the ethernet on my laptop (powermac G4) and share internet fine but not through our wireless cards. He can connect to the wireless connection but cant get internet. The reason we arent using a router is because i have a sprint card on my laptop. I live in the country so cant get broadband any other way. I even tried to run my linksys through my ethernet on my laptop and then see if he could draw internet through the router but nothing. I have set all of my sharing on right. My father was up for a visit and he had no trouble connecting to my laptop but he has a powerbook too.
Would like some insight on whether i need to make a static IP or what else i might need to do to get this Acer with Windows XP to draw internet through mine. garshwn@yahoo.com |

If you have to work with powermac G4 and windows XP, you can try cc file transfer, it lets you perform Windows-to-Linux / Mac OS transfers.
