Next time you're encountering an "Internet slang abbreviation" that you're not yet familiar with, try looking it up in OS X's Dictionary. I'm not sure how comprehensively these abbreviations are covered by Dictionary, but with the Dictionary pop-up window just a simple Command-Control-D away, it's a handy first step in finding out WTF the author is talking about.

BTW, the article featured -- well, partially featured -- in the screenshot is Apple Device Security: Big Temptation to Dumb-Down over at 43folders.com, and is well worth reading in its own right.
