Last week, Apple has pushed Safari 3.1 onto Windows machines by including it in their Software Update utility even when the software was not installed on the target machine, which approach has caused quite a stir on the 'Net.

Do you think it is OK to push out new applications the way Apple did (regardless of operating system platform)? What's your take?
