I'm a developer that is considering moving parts of a desktop application to the iPhone.
The application accesses a large database that is updated continuously during the day.
The impact on my server is non-trivial, and I cannot afford to offer a free use of the system.
Do iPhone Apps have the ability to get a monthly fee for their use?
