Hi,
I just bought the book and followed the instructions in downloading MySQL 5.0. I have it on my computer but when i run the client, i'm have to enter in a password. I have no idea what the password is. In the MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard, i gather it's asking for the root password? how do i figure out what my original root password or i'm just barking up the wrong tree? if anyone knows a better way to install SQL that'd be great. thanks. |
