On Page 156, we compute what it will cost Ed to hire out his brother, and as a result, run out of cash; the equation is:
C=252+84t-133t Question: Why is 'Ed's Income' (84t) part of the equation if he's in the cast and not working at the time? And doesn't including his 'income' understate how long it will take him to run out of cash since he isn't earning anything? It doesn't seem like Ed's income should be part of the equation when he doesn't have any. Could you please explain? Thanks. |
