A couple of users have reported a TypeInitializationException when starting the latest version of LINQPad (1.25.6) and are unable to proceed past that error. I've tracked down the cause - the good news is that it will affect only a handful of people! If you're one of those affected, go to www.linqpad.net and download the executable again - I've patched the latest version to work around this.

Hi Joseph,

I'm still getting this error on startup in v1.35.3.
The Problem only occurs on my laptop, not on my desktop computer. Is there anything I can do to fix this by configuring my system?
