Please help...anyone that can! i recently got a cubase le4 recording studio, and installed it on my laptop, registered, read the manuals the whole thing. but i am unable to record through the microphone. i can hear it being recorded through the microphone built into the computer, but not the microphone w/ the cubase program. PLEASE HELP ME ive been frustrated for weeks now. thankyou!

Do you have a recording interface? If not you still will need to go under Devices tab and click on the mic output for the mic that u are using. I am a new user to cubase also I always used Magix but I am having trouble with cubase LE 4 exporting to wav. cause it wont burn to a cd for some odd reason.
